ISO
9001 was first published in 1987 by the International Organization for
Standardization (ISO) as an international standard which specified the
uniform requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Today, the ISO
9001:2015 standard is considered the bare basic QMS structure for the
modern business.

structured QMS should be a significant business tool for an organisation;
